Jay L. Card is the Superintendent of Highways and the Commissioner of Public Work.
As the Superintendent of Highways Jay L. Card works closely with community service clubs and organizations to continue to keep the island beautiful. The following clubs/organizations are part of the continuing effort to keep the island beautiful: The Shelter Island Garden Club, Friends of Trees, Shelter Island Country Club and many neighborhood associations.
