You must dispose of household hazardous
Waste at HAZMAT area. Do Not throw
These down the drain or into the ground.
These materials include, but are not limited to:
-Antifreeze -Automotive Fluids
-Cleaners -Disinfectants -Nail Polish
-Paints (other than latex) -Pesticides
-Shoe Polish
Containers should be labeled with the product’s
Name or tell the attendant what is in the
Container. This information is necessary for
Proper handling.
 
Must Go to Scales---Fees for the Followings:

More Recycling Important Infomation
There is a designated drop off area between the cardboard and glass for COMPACT  FLOURESCENT BULBS AND HOUSEHOLD BATTERIES AND PRINTER CARTRIDGES. This area is off limits to Scavenging.
 
SCAVENGING, SALVAGING AND PICKING ....
MUST BE REGISTERED WITH SCALE HOUSE.

 Recyclables include:

News Paper and Mixed Paper:
 All clean dry newspaper, coupons, glossy paper, junk mail, phone books, office paper,
magazines, catalogs & cereal boxes. (Please see attendant for removing wire)
 
NO wax paper . Any paper products that have been contaminated with food waste or used tissues, used napkins, garbage from a bathroom or any paper that has been contaminated by bodily fluids!! These items are BIOHAZARD and put both residents and recycling attendants alike at risk of contamination. These MUST be disposed of in Town Bags. NO EXCEPTIONS
 All Food Waste must be in TOWN BAGS.
 
 CARDBOARD:

 All clean corrugated cardboard. NO waxed boxes or fish boxes..


  Glass: Only glass bottles and jars please rinse out. NO ceramics, plate glass, light bulbs, mirrors, windowpane or drinking glasses
 
   CANS:
   Tin & Aluminum cans should be rinsed out & 100% FREE OF ALL FOOD WASTE prior to arrival at the Recycling Center. NO Propane  Cylinders or aerosol cans. Consult recycling attendant for proper disposal of these items.
 
  PLASTICS:
    ONLY plastic with recycling symbol numbers 1-7.
 Plastics without symbols and number  WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND MUST GO IN TOWN BAG.
NO plastic toys, cellophane, hoses, tarps, etc.
